Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, and now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Tana Matz is a dynamic country-pop singer-songwriter whose passion for music began at an early age. By four years old, she was picking out melodies on toy instruments by ear, and by high school she had taught herself guitar and begun writing original songs. Before leaving her hometown, Tana had already performed more than 1,400 shows, building a loyal fan base while honing her craft and developing a commanding stage presence.

In 2017, she relocated to Nashville to pursue music full-time. Her debut EP, In Time, reached No. 11 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart in 2018, marking the beginning of a career that has continued to gain momentum.

As a songwriter, Tana has accumulated more than 20 million streams on songs she has co-written. She first earned a No. 1 on the iTunes All-Genre Chart as a co-writer with Alexandra Kay before later contributing two songs to Alexandra Kay's debut album, All I've Ever Known, including the album's title track. The album debuted at No. 1 across all genres on iTunes in the U.S. and also reached No. 1 on the Country Albums charts in Australia and Canada. In 2023, Tana joined Alexandra Kay on two national tours, performing for thousands of country music fans across the United States.

Between 2024 and 2026, Tana shared the stage with Chris Lane, Carly Pearce, Maddie & Tae, Tyler Rich, Tyler Farr, Jackson Dean, Avery Anna, The Castellows, and Smallpools, including a 13-city tour with the band. She also performed at the Voices of America Country Music Festival in Cincinnati and Country Concert in Ohio, strengthening her following back home.
